Aberglasney Mansion is a Grade II Listed Building referred to in Welsh Bardic writing dating back to 1477. The project involved the repair and restoration of the derelict east and south wings of the existing Mansion, together with the construction of a new central courtyard garden beneath a glazed atrium.

Restoration work gets under way
         
     
Enabling restoration prior to delivery of new atrium
 
    Rebuilding and stabilisation of existing masonry;
    Green oak beams and lintel replacements;
    Bespoke oak windows, doors and frames;
    Moulded timber framed structural support for new glazed atrium;
    Complete renewal of Welsh slate roof, including the restoration and repairs of all structural roof supports and timbers;
    Complete external re-render of rough cast with hydraulic lime mortar;
    Over-painting with both keim paints and limewash to new lime render;
    Reducing levels within building down to existing floor levels, including re-diverting stream and drainage;
    Re-glazing existing windows with crown glass
